Spandex Disco Leggins

Marois E syndrome

I'm not a big reader hardcore thrillers, but listening to the podcast The polar circle of Telerama convinced me to read Syndrome E Franck Thilliez. The three journalists were glowing and, again, my curiosity was piqued when describing the Duplessis orphans. In a French novel?

I devoured this book neatly packaged, with a very original idea and powerful figures. The use of orphans is really good view. Well documented too. Too bad that no writer of detective Quebec (to my knowledge) has had this intuition. I shall say no more, except that I surely will read later, in April 2011.

Blackriver Ramps Gift Card

Tab'arnaques

The 4th cover: "... From Abitibi in Montreal via Toronto or Destiny, in the State of Florida, no one is immune to the temptations. So obviously everyone wants to improve his lot, it seems that some are trying to take some shortcuts ...

In this collection of 13 new stripping, including a duet, scammers and "doves" of all kinds come together for our greatest pleasure to drive. Men, women, friends, colleagues, family and even children are not immune to the lure gain. The sad news is that most of the stories presented are all based on true facts.

Luc Baranger and André Marois joined talents of storytellers to unveil situations to thrill but to smile. Like what greed is unfortunately a characteristic of the human race ... "

It Luc Baranger who had the idea of this collection devoted to scammers. We wrote each of them six stories, each in our different style, and a final story for four hands.

The challenge was as fun and challenging, and countless topics. For my part, I tried to tell the most varied possible scams. Some are inspired by real events and others are completely invented.

Published by Tundra Books Tab'arnaques will be in bookstores in February, with a foreword by Vincent Lacroix (as well as talk about scams Quebec, we went after our logic. )

Brent Corrigan You Make Happy

Small fire

On 4 th back cover: "She prowls and threat. She sees this and mowing. Sometimes slow, always cruel, often funny, always premature death never strikes at random from the pages of this collection of 23 new color of mourning. "

The postscript:" Literature has sometimes need to leave its natural boundaries and is well that new media are opening up. I am always happy to see one of my stories in an environment whose main purpose is not literary. My appearances in Urbania, Pleasures of Living in Le Devoir, enRoute and Victor will, hopefully, managed to reach readers who would never come to me otherwise.

Alibis Moebius and addressed, in turn, to an audience already won to the cause of the short story, but where it is good to rub his fellows.

This collection serves to draw a review of such records and to ensure sustainability. It also forces to revisit each text, to rewrite what was still so hard. "

Allergies That Disqualify Navy

News

I wrote in a previous post I love writing short stories. To show you how true this is, I publish this spring two short story collections, in two different publishers. In fact, this is a book for four hands - Tab'arnaques - written by Luc Baranger, at his invitation, and published in America Quebec. The other - Small Fire - completes a trilogy and will be released from my usual editor: The short scale .

The chances of scheduling constraints and publishers are the two books appear simultaneously in February 2011. There is nothing premeditated in there, quite the contrary.

I will soon be on these two titles very different in approach and rendering.

Panasonic Breadmaker Paddle

new Solidarity with Écosociété

"The countdown continues for Publishing and the authors of Écosociété Black Canada: There is less than 275 days before the start of the libel suit filed by Barrick for $ 6 million. It must extend over forty days from next September.

The authors Black Canada simply do not have the resources required to cover costs such a trial. The four employees of the publishing house for their Écosociété likely to see their editorial work seriously compromised during the next year because of this assignment to justice. And this without counting what it will cost Quebec taxpayers, ordered to pay the costly fees - the courtroom, judge, bailiff, clerk - assume that forty days of trial. Meanwhile, Barrick Gold, the first gold company in the world largest, will continue to benefit from tax deductions to corporations with respect to their legal expenses.

The SLAPP suits by Barrick Gold and Banro is a misuse of the courts for an abuse of justice and seriously undermines the right to freedom of expression and information to citizens as part of discussions audiences. "
